This Privacy Policy applies to the Glitch Room mobile application (the “Application”) for mobile devices, created by Amit Kumar (the “Service Provider”) as a free service. This service is intended for use “AS IS.”

Summary
Glitch Room is an offline, pass-and-play party game. You can play without creating an account. The Application does not sell your data and does not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
Information Collection and Use
Data stored on your device
The Application stores the following information locally on your device using secure on-device storage (AsyncStorage):

This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to the Service Provider's servers. It may be included in your operating system's device backup (e.g. Google Backup on Android or iCloud on iOS) if you have enabled that feature.
Information we do not collect
The Application does not:
- Require an account, login, or email address
- Collect your name, phone number, or contact details inside the app
- Record your microphone or camera
- Track your precise location
- Use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs
- Transmit gameplay data to our servers — the Application has no game server
Audio
The Application plays short sound effects stored in the app bundle. Audio is processed locally on your device and is not uploaded anywhere. You can disable sound in Settings at any time.
Permissions
The Application requests only the permissions needed to run on your device. Permissions the game does not use — such as microphone and camera — are blocked.
Third-Party Access
The Service Provider does not share your personal information with third parties for marketing or analytics. The Application is distributed through app stores (such as Google Play) that operate under their own privacy policies. Those platforms may collect information related to downloads, updates, and billing as described in their respective policies:
The Service Provider may disclose information only if required by law, such as to comply with a valid legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or investigate fraud.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all local data collection by the Application by uninstalling it. Use your device's standard uninstall process or remove the app through the app store from which you downloaded it.
Data Retention and Deletion
- Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored game data and settings from your device.
- Use Start New Game in the app to discard an in-progress session without uninstalling.
The Service Provider does not retain copies of your local data on our servers because we do not receive that data. If you have questions about data stored on your device, contact us at glitchroomgame@gmail.com.
Children
The Application is a social party game intended for general audiences. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, contact the Service Provider at glitchroomgame@gmail.com so we can assist with deletion where applicable.
Security
The Service Provider is committed to safeguarding information processed by the Application. Because gameplay data remains on your device, keeping your device secure — including using a screen lock and keeping your operating system updated — is an important part of protecting your information.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will post changes on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
